Winston-Salem Journal | Bobcats take Gonzaga’s Morrison with No. 3 pick
With the third pick in the NBA draft, the Charlotte Bobcats selected Adam Morrison, a small forward out of Gonzaga.Morrison is one of the most prolific scorers in NCAA history, and led the NCAA in scoring last year with an average 28.1 points per game. He scored 40 or more points five times.
The Bobcats hope Morrison will be the consistent scorer missing in the Bobcats’ first two seasons.
