Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme is now officially the best postseason quarterback in league history — at least by one statistical measure.

Delhomme qualified for the all-time rankings in playoff passer rating during Sunday’s 29-21 win at Chicago, topping the 150 pass attempts threshold the league established as a minimum to be considered.

When he did, he became the highest rated postseason passer the league has known, with a mark of 108.4 in the complicated formula which many view as an accurate barometer of success under center.
