Ah… another loss to a divisional opponent

If you didn’t know it, Thomas Davis played all of 10 snaps yesterday on Defense.

Why? I guess because of the QB and the scheme we play. Davis isn’t a good cover-safety, and he’s mainly a blitzing linebacker…. and seeing how the Panthers didn’t blitz most of the day, his services weren’t needed.

So, tell me again why Davis was drafted in the mid first round? Don’t give me this garbage about this being a deeply talented team — that is BS. I really would like to know why Davis was drafted in the first place if he’s not going to freakin’ play.

The 2005 draft will go down as one of the biggest wastes in Panthers history, and it will effect this team in 2-3 years when the players they should have gotten were supposed to start… but they don’t have them, so they’ll have to spend money to get guys that will be able to start.
